i wish i knew it was illegal to dream before i did.
i always had the notion that one day i was going to amount to something, that i was going to matter to someone, that i was going to make someone proud. it turns out that i am the wrong kind of extraordinary. i am extra ordinary. i am not good enough. i am a disappointment. i am lazy, ungrateful, haughty, and fat. i am messy and short and have bad skin. i am not smart enough to make it. i don't have the money to make it, nor will i ever be capable of making the money to make it.
people shouldn't tell you that you can be anything you want to be. because you can't. at least i can't. and that hurts. people shouldn't tell you that you amazing and good things will come your way. because i'm not and they haven't.
people should've told me that i was ordinary. that i would never surpass average. that i would never matter.
because that's just the way it is.
and that sucks.
